“What I’d Tell You If I Could Sit With You”

"Reflections for moments of doubt, worry, and feeling overwhelmed"

About

Not all of us have life worked out. In fact, most of us don’t. Many people walk through their days carrying quiet worries about purpose, relationships, time, money, health, aging, and whether they’re doing life “right.” Many struggle to find clear answers or lasting meaning. And many, despite being surrounded by others, wonder if they’re facing these thoughts alone. One of the most difficult parts of struggling is the belief that we are the only ones doing so. The idea behind this book is simple: to help people struggle less. Not by offering perfect solutions or rigid rules, but by normalising the questions we all ask and the doubts we all carry. To remind readers that their thoughts are not strange, weak, or unique to them they are deeply human. Stories matter. When experiences are shared honestly, something powerful happens. We stop feeling singled out. We realise that others wrestle with the same fears, insecurities, and uncertainties. That connection, even words on a page, can bring relief. This book is built on the belief that most people are doing the best they can with what they know at the time. We all stumble. We all worry. We all second-guess ourselves. And yet, we rarely talk about it openly. If these pages achieve anything, I hope they help you feel less alone. I hope they offer reassurance rather than judgment, reflection rather than pressure. And if, in some small way, they reduce anxiety, soften worry, or encourage a gentler view of yourself, then this book has done its job. My purpose in writing this is not to tell you how to live, but to walk alongside you for a while. To remind you that life is not meant to be endured it’s meant to be lived. If this book helps even a few people live happier, more contented lives with less anxiety and worry, I’ll be very happy. That, to me, is more than enough.
