John Hart
About John Hart

About the Author - John Hart doesn’t play golf. While many blokes his age are working on their swing or arguing over who cheated at lawn bowls, John is usually off somewhere remote helping sort out problems in Indigenous communities or sitting at his desk writing… mostly to stay out of his wife’s hair. At 66, he calls himself “semi-retired,” but don’t believe it for a second. He’s still working as a consultant in the bush, troubleshooting community issues, developing youth programs, and gently refusing to play golf (again). Retirement? …. Never heard of her!! Now, don’t underestimate this boomer. He’s got a nursing qualification, a counselling qual, a background in exercise science, a Master’s in Disability with a focus on disability and rehab, quals in Business (let’s not forget the plumbing qual) and enough training certificates to wallpaper a “small - tiny house”. He’s also a documentary filmmaker not that there’s any money in that (trust him, he’s checked). From owning and running tourist resorts to being CEO of a community service organisation, John’s worn more hats than a race day marquee. He’s been writing books, policies, documentaries, and opinions on everything from health to motivation to leadership always with a bit of wit and a whole lot of lived experience. Yes, he can be annoying. Yes, he thinks he’s funny. But he genuinely loves helping people especially when it comes to cutting through the noise and giving real, honest advice.

John Hart is the author of 11 books, including LUNCHBOX LEGENDS: POWERING KIDS WITH REAL FOOD and Forever Youngish: The Longevity Revolution: Science based Secrets for a long, Healthy Life- An Effective Guide to Longevity and outlasting Everyone Else -“Well just maybe”.
